Interesting note about GotF... I never knew that!

It was pretty frustrating watching Takemichi win by taking hits- that trope was best done in HxH, and it wasn't that interesting here. The rest of the episode with his new 'friend' was more worthwhile for sure. That slap. Since he has already freed his friends from 'thug life/slavery' - and I know this is a paradox with most time travel fiction - hasn't he already impacted the future? Maybe being this dude's friend and steering him toward respectability could have the girl's life down the line? It is just a bit convenient (and contrived) that his entire objective on a silver platter is to prevent two people from meeting.

Does anyone know if this is going to be a full adaptation, or is this a portion of an ongoing manga? That will help color my expectations properly going forward.
