Much better than the title led me to assume. For a story involving time travel, the scenario felt pretty realistic. It is always a bit odd when anime doesn't lean on the supernatural to lubricate its setting, but not unwelcome. Contemporary 'real world' where gangs and violence are a thing, and it is easy to fall into a rut. I'm very excited to see where this goes.
Yeah, character designs took a little getting used to. I like that the overall goal is to save a life that seems fated to be lost, and I like the circumstances behind Takemichi and little bro's relationship. Definitely worth checking out.
