If you think imagination is more important... im not saying that its more important than knowledge, but if you do think imagination is more important then maybe you should try imagining Naruto instead of watching it. Its a bit difficult isnt it? Of course, you could imagine anything you want for Naruto. You could see him becoming Hokage, or defeating Sasuke, or falling in love with Hinata maybe. But the truth is... its not real. It's just your imagination telling you what you want to see. To tell you the truth, I dream about Naruto a lot and the time i dream about Naruto isnt even compared to the real thing.
And besides, evidence proves that something is right or wrong. Evidence will tell you if Kakashi really did get the Sharingan from Obito and if Obito really is of the Uchiha Clan. It could show you if Naruto really does succeed in his goal. So... why dont you think about it for a while, hmm?

Of course Kishimoto will give us a past to these characters. Havent you noticed already that they have shown the past to most of main characters... even if it wasnt much.
There is also evidence that Kakashi is not of the Uchiha clan. If i remember correctly, when Kakashi was sealing Sasuke's cursed seal with his technique Orochimaru appeared and they had a little conversation. Orochimaru also said that Kakashi had only received the Sharingan not long ago.
yes and they say it again when he faces Itachi that hes not a part of the clan
Obito could be anyone, doesnt have to be the person that gave him his sharigan - i mean he obviously knew more then one person yeah? all of his friends died, not just one

Im assuming that he means why Kakashi covers his mouth and nose. Not the eye. Although I dont know myself, it is interesting with his mask on.
maybe they will show kakashi's past when someone attacks the village and is fimmaliar with kakashi and he tells naruto and the gang aobuthis past
