I'm always surprised by how much time has actually passed in this series. Like I get Thorfinn has gotten older, but apparently it's been almost a decade now. Alotta, like, year-long timeskips between episodes.
And Thorfinn is like, the exact same shitty kid he's been since year two...
I'm sure for a minute there MFauli was getting ready with some "told ya so"s, until they revealed the Prince(ess) was a double.
Episode 22:
I need more episodes!
Askeladd is probably the most fun character I've seen in a while.
It's getting really intense.
This show taught me that Artorius is an old timey way to say Arthur.
So now I think Artorius of the Abyss in Dark Souls is a Ghosts 'N Goblins reference.
Episode 24
-----------------------------------------
What an ending.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
I thoroughly enjoyed this. And the fact that the last episode was called End of Prologue...that has me excited as hell for season 2.
No idea who that guy with the short orange hair at the end is supposed to be.
Amazing episode. I remember when the manga reached this part, and I thought "woah, this was all just the prologue?"
Also, It's confirmed that Season 2 won't start in 2020, so it'll probably be the end of 2021 or 2022 til we get an animated continuation.
Many series of old had sequels years apart. Apparently it helps with pacing and burnout of animation staff so that's fine. I've never encountered a sequel where I then thought "It's been too many years, not watching."
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Never finished the first series, but I read most of the manga (years ago) and the story takes... an unexpected turn.
I've heard that events in the anime are starkly different from the Manga at the end of the first season, so I'd be curious to see how it gets adapted from here.
