From an outward visibility standpoint, this is a horrible canopy. You might as well make it an open aircraft if you're just going at turbine engine speeds. But I suppose that guy won't be able to smoke in an open cockpit.
Gen trying to lie his way through something again is fun. I gather the main crew is going to repair that aircraft and just land on that airstrip after an episode or two.

Why didn't he make Tsukasa the scientist?
To give Taiju something to do.
Also, while Tsukasa is strong in an offensive and evasive way, Taiju is actually a tank. Being a separate entity from Tsukasa would let Tsukasa go and fight.
Dr Taiju also has a cool ring to it.

Not sure why it was so important that she didn't do physical labour, because you can still run away whilst being one, and it's not going to build muscle like that in the short run anyway.
That was a good episode that went by too quickly. Except for Stanley who's watching a bunch of people eat ice cream.

Just realised as well that this wasn't just some article online that Senku was reading. This was direct correspondence between Senku and Xeno.

I'm not fond of the "you have to stay awake to be revivable" retcon. And it sounds like Xenos knows all about nitric acid anyway, so I don't know why he's wanting the formula from Taiju.

That can't possibly be the case. No way all of our past characters did shit like Senku or Xenos.
I agree with you. Xenos seemed to have made that conclusion based on the fact that voltage detected from his bird samples disappeared with time, leading to him thinking that "feeble" minds will vanish, but that just hasn't been demonstrated. I'm sure some of Tsukasa's muscle squad had feeble minds.

Yeah, I just assumed it just meant they lost consciousness.
Senku remaining conscious the whole time was only relevant(though still ridiculous) because it's what allowed him to know exactly how much time had passed since he was turned to stone.

It'd be so tense to know that someone is about to snipe you, and have to make up some form of armour right then and there.
So Xeno does know of the nitric acid. He should have also recognised that everyone that he revived came back successfully. His prior comment about how Team Japan couldn't have had so many people remain conscious after personification makes no sense then.

"They wanted me to leave a will, so they shot me through the chest" - yeah, if that was a clean hit you're not leaving a will. You're dead, if you're gasping for breath now.
Luna's assessment of "your blood pressure is low" is shit. Her method was sound because that's how blood pressure cuffs work, but they only work because the cuff has an accurate measure of what pressure it's delivering in order to cut off blood flow. Her hand can't do that. You can feel a thready pulse, but if she's flunked (esp in 1st year) I doubt she'd have the experience to gauge that.
I'm impressed with Gen coming up with his bluffs with limited information.
