A sad day, indeed. Feels like Garp could have used a few more episodes for his send off, but he's gotten at least a few over the course of the series. At least he went out laughing.

What makes you say he's not dead? Does he still serve some narrative purpose in One Piece now that his baton has been passed on? Seems like an elegant end for the character.
