I'm glad Oda never forgets this is first and foremost a kid's manga. I'm sure that has pulled One Piece through more than a few rough patches, because boy am I tired of Momo getting this much screen time, and he's only been in this form for like 3 episodes. I'm sure his levity is really entertaining to the younger crowd.

Glad to see Rob Lucci is back in action; I hope he gets to be a villain again. He's my favorite in the series (with captain Kuro as a somewhat close 2nd).
I guess I forgot that Sanji supposedly got none of the enhancements of his siblings (until now). Good power up. I was expecting a suit feature reveal.
I also appreciate that Queen's onsey is made to perfectly fit all of his bulbous forms. Its like a visual gag on its own now.
Is his powerup Wolverine regeneration?
Since they're skipping a couple weeks broadcasts for some concurrent sporting events I hear, I'll post my impressions of the One Piece: Red movie that just came to streaming:
Not great. Aside from having generally weak animation (for a theatrical release), the plot makes little sense (even by OP standards) and leans far too heavily on fanservice, like Stampede did, to obfuscate the bizzare structure of the story. To be clear, this is fanservice of the 'remember that character?' type. Uta wasn't likable hardly at all, and the 'twist' may have sprained my retina during the eye roll, it was so contrived. Shanks was put to no good use and his character wasn't hardly explored at all, which was a big let down... Unsatisfying all around.
It wasn't all bad, though. I'd say 4 of the 6 songs were banger, and Admiral Kizaru's permanent troll face always brings me joy.
In short, youtube the music numbers If your down for some j-pop and skip the rest.

I'm glad Sanji made peace with his potential loss of humanity with his new power. Some character drama can survive slow pacing with the impact intact; that did not and I was getting fatigued by the padding.
I thought CP-9 was supposed to be the best/strongest intelligence sector, though it has been over ten years, so I might have forgotten?
CP-0 has been stronger since they introduced it. And Lucci and Kaku were both reassigned to CP-0, so that makes sense.

So Zoro's village was founded by a Wano samurai. Makes sense.
I assume the guy in Yamato's flashback that looks like him is his dad, so he must have lived there at some point as well.
I can't tell if the pirate that founded the village is the swordmaker, or Zoro's maybe dad.

I suspect the swordmaker founded the village. Leaving Wano illegally sounds like 'became a pirate'.
Was Zoro's ultimate solution to the sword sucking his haki until he dies was to give it more? That's stupid and also very One Piece, but I wish it didn't take 3 episodes to come to that revelation.
It's weird he's having these revelations now anyway. This is all old info to him, and we spent, like, 100 episodes in this country before this battle even started.

This episode got me thinking I missed an episode a while back. Did we ever see this interaction where it looked like Sanji backhanded the geisha with the mouse?
