That's what I am getting at. The pacing is much faster, by One Piece standards, in Wano.

Big Mom's pretty obliging to Prometheus.
Color of the supreme king? That's new, right? We just had emperor before, I think.
As far as I know, that's just another translation for Conquerer's Haki.

Goddamn! They played We Are AND We Go during that attack.
So Luffy figured out he can channel Conqueror's Haki into attacks the same way you can charge them with Armament Haki.
I'd say that constitutes a sufficient powerup.
I just loved the part where he's looking at his glowing fist and goes "The rest of you can go. This is a shonen battle now."
Now it makes sense. I didn't connect the dots of infusing conqueror's haki; I thought it was just a different Wano version of armamaent.

Never did I expect Big Mom to have a gap-moe. So cute, in a (grand)mom kind of way.
I doubt she will remain an ally for long, and I also was surprised she even kept her memories from her amnesiac period. I guess they just blended together.
I wish the real fights would fucking start already!
Everytime I think the Strawhats have found their opponent, they go someplace else with different people again!
We got Kaido, 3 Lead Performers, 5 Tobi Roppo...everyone just fucking pick someone and GO ALREADY!
dayumn, nice animation in this episode
10/4/04 - 8/20/07
For an episode where nothing big really happens.
We got the soft reset of the battle, and Big Mom went full Cuphead with that combined attack.
I'm glad they rewound to explain how Zoro got in the body cross, because I seriously thought I missed something during the filler movie tie in episodes.
What OP villain holds the record for most rematches required for Luffy to beat?
Has anyone fought him more than twice before losing?
You might be able to make a case for Gekko Moria, depending on how you count him trolling Luffy with shadow creatures and Zombie Luffy.
DonFlamingo had one tag-tam with Law, a pre gear 4th battle, and a break during the G4 aftereffects where they had to buy time for him to go at it for the finish (after DonF awakened his fruit).
Was the Katakuri fight a two-parter in mirror world, after the quick fight on the Straw Hats ship? If so, I think he also belongs in the three fight club.
Of course, this episode ends part 2 of the Kaido fight, so he'll get 3...
I also wanna say Rob Lucci may have had 2 small scuffs before his main fight as well.
I think 3 is the limit so far.

I'm surprised they didn't think to issue orders as they served the dango, but I guess that gave Tomo a chance to shine.
Great cuts at the end between Kaido and Yamato. Does this confirm her as the last crew member?

I no longer have any hope that Carrot and Yamato might both join the Strawhats, as they're too redundant.

Final Form: Sexy White Beastgirl (Ice Variant)
Just caught up. I felt all sorts of ways when someone name dropped the Rob Lucci and started transforming into a cat.
Assuming cat guy actually has two narratives, one being the origin of the gomu-gomu fruit, and the other with some slave/deity secret Jimbei's holding onto, this fight just got more interesting (to me) than the rest of Wano combined. Lore drops are a sweet nectar that Oda drip feeds me every year or so.
Yamato seems much more likely than Carrot; she was simply a long term rental. All Straw Hats have a Dream to set out to sea for... Carrot does not.
Did Yamato eat the "Mink Mink" fruit and this is her Sulong? What is this creature, if not a Pokemon?
