Woah, okay. I didn't expect the first 3 episodes to complete an entire story arc.

Stylistically Madhouse produced this this as if it was a successor from Parasyte. No complaints there.

I remember the original version. Madhouse did that one too.

The new one is just as overrated.

I tuck this series in the same bucket at Lain.

So far, this story is a whole lot of nothing :/ hope it picks up soon.

In this case, the aesthetic is just so in tune with my tastes (color palate and ambient ost) that I find it a joy to watch in spite of any other misgivings. Yeah, the story isn't terribly interesting, but I have a big, dumb smile on my face due to the atmosphere alone while watching.
