A friend recommended it, so I gave it a try. First episode was rather enjoyable. The story seems serious, if over-the-top in terms of action. But it's well-animated, so I'll allow it. In general, this anime has a bit of a retro/classic feel to it, probably because of the character design. It's not the typical moe shit, bit closer to, let's see, Cutie Honey or Agent Aika - without the sexy stuff (so far).

With 39 confirmed episodes, there's lots of potential, so I'm looking forward to more.

Also Shirogane is now my waifu. Shinta, if you'd make me a sexy signature pic, I'd much appreciate that! ;o

Episode 2 is out

Nobody but me watching?!
Is shaping up to be a real good shounen-adventure. Good-natured hero with weird flaw, hopeful young boy, mysterious, strong, hot girl. And creepy super puppets that fight.

Shirogane is my waifu already btw!

I usually like these 2 main characters with conflict but eventually screw stories, but this is kinda low quality.

Boy is always crying.
Man is always shouting.
Girl is always brooding or bitching.

The art is also lacking detail and strangely proportioned like One Piece. The scenes are kind of all over the place, and the MC's illness is more unbelievable than anything in the entire show.

I really wanna like this, so I'll still give it a few more episodes.

Episode 3

Really enjoying all the characters development. All 3 heroes keep changing at a steady space. Excited to find out if whiny boy really is a badass now.

I've watched til the latest. I love the new outfits for Eleonore, so this show shot up the rankings for me.



The death and return of Narumi is also a welcome change. He is still the same softie but now way more badass. I hope the reunion comes sooner than later. Vilma is also a nice addition to the cast.

I'm so excited for the reunion. Narumi now a Shirogane himself - Shirogane will be all over him! ❤

Story execution is a bit heavy handed ('here you see hundreds of suffering children, BAD SITUATION!'), but I still like it overall. I hope the boy learns some fighting, too.

With 39 episodes, maybe we'll get a timeskip and the boy grows up. Tbh I wanted him to hook up with Shirogane after Narumi's death :i
