Anyway, I heard about the circumstances of the series ending, and I feel bad for Kubo. He wasn't ending the series cause he was done, but because he was basically told "You get 3 more issues. End it." Quality of the series aside, that's a shitty situation for any creator.
Is that what happened? I thought its popularity increased after the anime got canceled...
