Episode 150:
Surprise, Bakugo will survive!!!
/s
Why is that ninja guy's life worth less than Bakugo's? Oh, I forgot, Bakugo is a "child" (at 18 years) and the ninja guy is already about 30 years old, so he's basically lived a rich, fullfilling live.

Miruko's power also is just nonsensical. It'd be okay if she SURVIVED, but no, she's fighting at full power after losing 3 limbs, come on.
What annoyed me the most, however, (well, on par with Bakugo surviving) is how All for One couldn't even kill that one female hero he stole a quirk from. He just had to snap her neck there.
This anime plays it safer than a Disney-movie.
"She's the only non-loli girl in the show, your honor!" will be my defense in court
Miruko's pretty badass. She's losing limbs all over the place and has a pretty one-dimensional superpower, but she just goes in kicking anyway. Every Luna-Arc she lands feels deserved.
It looks like Ninja is suturing the heart, but that's what Jeanist did before, so what exactly is Ninja doing? He's doing CPR, but Jeanist can do that too. I thought Ninja was replacing the heart that was destroyed, but it looks more like it was just pierced.
As for replacing the existing blood that was lost, well there's not much you can do about that with their current powers. If anything I thought the transforming dude was going to morph a heart for Bakugo.
Toya having a flaming thing on his chest didn't make that much sense. Phosphor was a move that mixed both hot/cold aspects of him together so that he could output both at the same time (with the end result being that one move was for offensive damage towards enemies, and the other move was to counter the negative effects it'd have on his body).
Toya was deemed a failure because despite his lineage, his power ended up being super-fire that was even more self-immolating than Endeavour's. Toya also never demonstrated any notable ice powers to balance this. That means Toya's "Phosphor" move makes no sense.

Episode 151:
I mean, the "hero" is dominating the whole episode. And I still don't believe that Bakugo will die and now I even have doubts that the guy trying to heal Bakugo's heart will die either.
This is all so boring, really the worst of the "big" shounen-anime. The end was especially bad, with the "I want to save that kid" bs. If Deku again risks everyone's life only to save Shigaraki, fuck all. Fuck treating Shigaraki and All for One as if only the latter is evil. Shigaraki, even without All for One, is a murderous evil villain.
And now we'll have to suffer next week through some side event, who even cares about the heteromorphs' fight, lol?
PS: I have a visceral reaction to Toga's face. It makes me want to punch something so hard. Worst character ever and she should long be dead.

I did like how Shigaraki was like "Giving it our all?! You're negating all my powers and blocking all my teammates! You cheating dick!"
I got hot eyes at the build-up of that final punch though. The music is lit.
It's kind of like Fairy Tail. The story, power levels or fight logic don't always make sense, but a killer OST and a little shounen pep talk goes a long way to making things feel cool in the moment.
Hero Academia has one or two blood-pumping battle tracks. Ones that have several would be Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan and Initial D.
-------
Watching the fight a second time though, I did find Shigaraki's approach amusing. His trying to figure out Deku's timing - then Deku introducing a delay and also bringing out new moves feels like when I play against DS-like bosses - with Deku being the boss.

Well, this is the episode where all that "sparing the villains" theming comes home to roost.
So I'm pretty sure Stained will finally show up again soon. Which is the thing I'm most interested in.
Of course, the little girl is a more capable hacker than the adult villain, sure. :/
And I hate these clones, because 100% will they all vanish when some "core" is destroyed. lame.
Can we have a shounen-anime where the villains win, at least for once? I hate all the heroes, lol. They're just given new powers and shit, I'm way more concerned with how All for One can survive this, lol.

I was taken aback at the random hot weatherwoman in the American news report. I'm all for fanservice. I can't figure out if it was actually a joke or not. She's holding a purse and all during it lol. Japan does have their own version of this but it goes down the "cute" pathway. I'm going to guess it's just taking inspiration from the Mexicans.
I never realised Shoji had such a cool voice, probably mostly due to his limited screentime before this.
I forgot about Gentle, and even when he came back I couldn't remember his power.
The sniper girl's always been pretty cool.

I don't get it. Why did Mina's skin turn white? I rewatched the scene several times, there's no hint. I ASSUME something is making her lose her quirk, but I don't know what.

Would have been good to establish that like 5 years ago ...

Oh man, I really hoped Stain gets involved in the All Might/All For One fight!
158:
FUCK Toga.
What a shit, uninteresting villain who deserves NO mercy. And yet the author of this show thought it'd make sense to "save" her. Fuck that shit. She killed so many innocent people, she always behaved totally unhinged, and she deserved to die a long time ago.
Now I'm fully expecting her to get a "hero death", too. WTF
Yes, I'm angry.
