I'm curious if Subaru is going to get more of the Archbishop's powers as he defeats them.

I actually got teary eyed while listening to the speech, not because of some unique content or masterful wordsmithing, but because it was exactly what I needed to hear more than a week after the US elections.

I assumed each of the towers controlled a water gate. So if you take out one of them first, the others can flood the city. You have to take them all out at once to prevent that.

I thought based on the good guys' assessment that these enemies don't give a shit about them because they've never had to. I guess that can change if one of their archbishop allies die, but I don't really see these guys as caring for their teammates at all. They all seem like berserkers.

Yeah, but after a couple of the Archbishops are killed, the remaining ones might go "Oh, these guys are dangerous apparently."

Sloth getting killed could just be a fluke. But if a couple more die, then they might start to get serious.

With that in mind, my suggested plan is to tackle the most dangerous one with their entire team first, with Subaru ready to suicide if things go awry. When one of the archbishops are dead, the rest can split into two teams, with one being mainly Reinhard, and the rest on the other. Sloth and Lust are moving together, right?

Not sure what the deal is with Crusch. She's got dragon blood on her face which is making her ugly, but hard to say how this is affecting her performance. We know she looks more ugly, but her servants are acting like she's incapacitated with all the hiding etc. Subaru's leg gives him something to block with, so maybe Crusch can just facetank stuff literally now.

I'm curious how serious this dragon blood is after all. Also, lol @ acting like Crusch has become so ugly prior to this episode. A bit of darker, veiny skin is still infinitely better than being turnd into a literal monster fly, lol.

Also, there was a joke missing in that scene: When Crusch told Subaru to stop absorbing her curse, Subaru should have answered "don't get me wrong, Crusch, I'm not only doing this for you. I'm also doing it because I get to touch your magnificent boobs that way!"
