Wait, was that episode be supposed to be some mid-season finale or why is LiveChart telling me it's gonna be 72 days until the next episode?!

"She's the only non-loli girl in the show, your honor!" will be my defense in court
This will actually continue in 2-3 days time.
Really unhyped rn, ngl. I still wanna see what happens, but season 3 splitting the pov to so many different characters really hasn't worked for me so far. I just hope the second half manages to be better.
"She's the only non-loli girl in the show, your honor!" will be my defense in court
I agree. We don't really need to see all the shit that happens away from Subaru in detail. The events overstay their welcome with how stretched they get.
Peace.
Yes, and not just because it might be redundant: It fucks up the whole concept of the show!
Re:Zero in S1 and S2 has always been telling the story from Subaru's pov. So when Subaru made progress, we knew him dying meant to work on that knowledge he acquired from the progress he made.
When in S3 we see Otto, beast boy or Emilia or anyone do something when they're on their own, we get NOTHING out of it, because the moment Subaru dies and changes things, anything the other characters might have experienced might not even be happening. Negative AND positive experiences.
Only what Subaru experiences is REAL to us, the audience. That's why showing all this stuff where he's not involved is just less interesting.
"She's the only non-loli girl in the show, your honor!" will be my defense in court
I actually think they are spoilers. When we see other POVs and they experience something meaningful, that means Subaru's next revival will be at a later reset point.
Peace.
Episode 59:
Yeah, it's hard to care about what I'm seeing right now. Stuff happens, but my reaction is mostly "ok ... whatever".
And I have to say, this episode had a distracting amount of sexual fanservice. Is the songstress suddenly lesbian or what the fuck was with her completely out of place-reaction to seeing the other girl naked? I don't remember her being lesbian before. What an odd, unnecessary scene.
Reinhard being literally unkillable is kinda cheap, too. I really hope the next season will be the final one.
"She's the only non-loli girl in the show, your honor!" will be my defense in court
I mean, Reinhard didn't even need to draw his sword because the enemy is too crap. He is the pinnacle in this story. It's always funny when OP enemies brag and then Reinhard shows up and casually trounces them.
I still have no idea how fast or strong Subaru is. Even with all his training, I don't see him doing the feats everyone else is casually doing, so why does his presence even matter? And it does somehow, which is disconcerting.
Peace.

I welcome the goon.

Episode 60:
The only good part was Priscilla losing her cool. I always hated how she thought she's above everyone else.
The songstress has become the worst character. It's like she's a different person compared to before the break.
As for Subaru figuring out Regulus' ability, I don't know where that came from. He noticed that his heart doesn't beat, okay. How do you go from there to time-stop? weird.
Also, why can't Reinhard fight back against being thrown when he clearly can fly or sorta fly?
"She's the only non-loli girl in the show, your honor!" will be my defense in court
I do like Priscilla though. The only good part was Priscilla losing her cool. I always hated how she thought she's above everyone else.
It's annoying when they can't back it up, but when they can then it's alright. She also isn't cruel towards other people.
She's probably also the hottest character thus far.
As for Reinhardt, I was never of the impression that he could change direction midair.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Priscilla and Songstress pair are the wakiest team, so I love them.
I hate how Subaru and Emilia just keep babbling in this fight and Greed doesn't just kill them right there.
Agreed with Mfauli that it makes no sense for Reinhard to be delayed by being thrown around because he is immortal and can fly.
Peace.
How does being immortal help with that?
He's not immortal, he just heals after he dies. If someone throws him through a building, first, he has to come back to life. Then, he has to dig himself out of the rubble.
Doesn't help with being thrown in the sky either, because if you aren't even hurt, it doesn't do anything at all.
Meaning he doesn't get gravely injured and needs healing that takes more time. He just dies and revives seconds later, just like last time. Him taking forever to explode out of debris and flying back makes no sense time wise, but then again this entire fight suffers from timing and speed issues. It's always a problem when you introduce speedsters and make them fight with normals.
Peace.
Right now Reinhardt has to do the One Punch Man thing where he either waits to fall or hope he hits the moon if he goes into orbit.
I'm more interested in Lust vs Al personally, and wondering what he means by "You better get out of here before I die". It's an awkward way of saying "Please leave before you kill me", but given that the whole setup was to trap and kill her, that makes little sense.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
He probably has a trump card that shows up when he dies, but it comes at a great cost, so he'd rather avoid using it.
Peace.
