A pretty good movie. And extra ridiculous due to featuring the Crimson Demon Village.

Ya, and expected, smol Megumin is extra cute. I was totally behind all the characters melting for her
Megumin prequel series begins!

Megumin might be my favorite character, but not sure how interesting a show of all Megumins is...
"Based on my personal statistics study, there's a high likelihood of you becoming a very powerful mage in the future"
That scene cracked me up. The train of thought there was truely Megumin.
I wonder if something tragic is going to happen to Arue. Considering Megumin has that eyepatch in the show.

This is my main worry.
The main series works because of the balance between the four self-serving scumbag main characters. Many of the author's other series just don't work as well because he can't manage to avoid a particular character gag getting really stale. A whole series focused on the morons of the village could be rough, but with Yunyun playing off on the general psychosis of the rest of the village, it might be okay for a while.
It was cute that Megumin's wishlist of stuff to Wolbach are all references to plot points of the main series.

Okay, the scene of all the adults using magic and constantly checking if the girls were impressed really got me.
For me it was the adults talking about needing to survive when they bombed their own village. That and Netorare.

Well that was okay. I prefer the main series.
"Makes me realize I don't have to try, either"
ROFL, kind of relatable line
Well, it's good to see KonoSuba returned as good as ever.
"She's the only non-loli girl in the show, your honor!" will be my defense in court
S3 - eps 2

Is it my imagination, or is Megumin suddenly more defensive/protective of Kazuma in more than just a comrade way after their little fireside discussion in the first episode?
Darkness isn't her usual self either, but she was trying to balance her nobility social skills with backing up her party, while Megumin was the first to Kazuma's defense each time and willing to void social cues easily.
Aqua was a total disgrace like she's been for a while.
I felt that Megumin's behavior has been a gradual thing. Darkness is pretty level headed when her masochist side isn't taking over. I guess even with her M tendencies she has enough sense to not put her entire family at risk.

Just caught up.
I forgot how much the voice work informs the texture of this show. A lot of what is said (especially overlapping conversations) is pretty basic and honestly redundant, but the delivery really makes it shine and gives that comedic vibe we know and love.
Fun scene at the dinner. Now Kazuma gets to be sleezy around even more stuck up royalty.
