I think I know why they left the introduction exposition out, although I still think it was stupid of them to do so.

If you've seen Total Eclipse (or further, played any of the games), it's pretty obvious. I'd elaborate more, but I really don't want to spoil...outside of these brackets anyway.

All you have to do is look at a map, it will pretty much tell you exactly how this series will ultimately play out. The Stasi underestimate the BETA and are trying to use them for political gain.

The left out the intro because it would encourage viewers to compare the world maps. People who play the games know anyway, since muvluv Alternative is chronologically last, but came out first.
