The Japanese Ring movies (Ring, Ring 2, Ring 0, Rasen aka The Spiral). A million times scarier than the American one (which though good, it seems to just try to make the audience 'jump' rather than scare them), Ring 2 is the scariest overall I think...
Audition - Like Ichi The Killer (which is sick! this isn't really a horror I guess but its horrible to watch...I was more uncomfortable watching the 'piano wire' bits than anything in Ichi.
Phone - I only watched this recently but that was pretty scary...
IT - based on the novel by Stephen King...I watched it recently and it wasn't as scary as I remember but it scared the shit out of me as a kid
Lost Boys - not scary but it was my favourite film as a kid
Cradle Of Fear - fucking amazing B-Movie featuring Dani from Cradle Of Filth - totally low budget etc but filled with violence and gore and its interesting and fucked up...
28 Days Later - not really scary but very cool...
The Alien Quadrilogy - again, not scary but I'm getting the boxset soon!
Halloween - the first one - scared the shit out of me first time i saw it
Evil Dead 2 is well funny! Spoofs rule... EDIT *Just noticed my user name is a quote from the film*
I've downloaded Uzumaki recently so I'm gonna watch that soon...

I recently watched Silence of the Lambs over the weekend on TV. Man, that was a creepy movie. I think I made it worse by watching a little of an MSNBC report durning the commercials on con-artists that do plastic surgery on people and mutilate them. I had to watch an episode of South Park and a couple of infomercials to ground myself back in reality.
