Plot Summary: In a world where humans and non-humans have not yet been separated, the kingdom of Leones is protected by the Holy Knights, powerful magic users both revered and feared by the people. Supposedly the strongest, most fearsome of these knights, the Seven Deadly Sins, betrayed the kingdom and made enemies of all the other knights. Queen Elizabeth doesn't believe this story, and sets out to find the Sins - but when she meets the first Sin at a tavern, his name is Melodias, and he's nothing but a boy in charge of the pigs.

Nanatsu no Taizai: The Seven Deadly Sins aired last year and early this year, and honestly probably among the best, if not the best adventure shounen series animated in recent years. I know at least one person that watched it. It had a few good characters, I recall the action being quite good, and of course there was no shortage of blood if I remember correctly. In all it was fun.

Anyways, a sequel series has been recently announced for next year:

I really liked this but haven't found the time to watch the OAV. I love nonchalant OP heroes like Kenshin. Diane, especially her loli form, was cute as hell too.

My main complaint was the power levels are all over the place.

I like OP characters, so that complaint has always felt shallow to me, or at the very least overused... kinda like people complain about it because it's become mainstream to do so. Bring me more Tatsuya!

Ass kicking is always entertaining I say.

But yeah, power levels are all over the place as you say. I had to shut my brain off at times.

I haven't watched the OVAs either, didn't know there were ones.

That's a good observation about OP complaints. I've noticed the same thing but convinced myself that people can't be that shallow.

I really liked this show. Solid action shounen with fun characters.

Has anyone been watching the 4-episode special? Was completely missing it since Horriblesubs isn't doing it.

Does anyone have any experience with the following fansub groups?

project-gxs
Deadfish
tenshi
DizziSubs

They seem to be working on it, but don't know shit about any of them other than Deadfish.

I'm not expecting much out of these specials regardless, a let down from the previous announcement about an actual second season. Not sure what led to the change of plans.
