But both guys clearly like her.
But both guys clearly like her.
Peace.
Yukine doesn't like Hiyori like that. If anything, it is more brotherly-sisterly affection. Hiyori doesn't look at him romantically the way she's starting to look at Yato, and Yato obviously likes Hiyori.
There's no love triangle.
I disagree. I think Yukine DOES like Hiyori like that, only that he as the series went on realized that he had no chance, so it's more of a sister-brother thing as you mention. But I don't discard the notion that Yukine DOES have romantic feelings for her if ever given the chance.
But yeah, no love triangle.
Yukine blushes all the time around Hiyori.
If you think real siblings do that, you watch too much anime.
@Munsu
Love triangles do not require the girl to have feelings for both competing parties. Even two parties competing for someone's affection, in this case Hiyori's, is counted as a love triangle.
However, if you think Yukine isn't even competing, then I get your assertion.
Peace.

And so ends the Bishamon arc. The massacre was quite brutal, but disappointed on the villain this time, didn't present any real resistance when he got into the picture vs. the big shots. So in all, was ready to move on. An overall good arc despite Yato showing scarce moments of genuine badassness.
Veena is really really cute at times. That's the only thing I got from this arc. And that's enough.
Peace.
Alright, so just watched the final 7 or so episodes from where I had left off with Noragami Aragoto.
Overall, a fun series to watch... though as with everything, we were left wanting to see Yato in his full badassness, which rarely (if ever) came. Maybe some glimpses, but we never really saw him at his best. Also the relationship between Yato and Hiyori pretty much stayed the same despite the obviousness, so that left us wanting.
I was confused about the last arc, but glad it got clarified in those final scenes... and the after the credit scenes was a cruel way to end the season. Well, cruel if we don't get more anime. But by the same token, was glad they included it since right prior to that reveal I was wondering about 2 thread lines that seemed to be left hanging, but converged right there.
The Heavens though are brutal as fuck and that exploding body was awesome to see, and it quite surprised me.
In all, entertaining though I was hoping for better in this sequel. And the animation is quite solid, pleasant visuals.
Anyways, I hope we get more Noratan in the future.
