His drain tough is an innate racial skill of an Overlord, the highest class of undead.
He didn't use any magic, just magic items and skills, which the enemy is free to do as well. Healing is an innate racial War Troll skill, and the troll (was forced to) used it in the match. The troll also unleashed a bunch of martial skills.
Even when Ainz said he was going to take the match seriously, he still didn't use magic. He just unleashed the limiters he placed on himself. He had a skill called physical nullification (that was sealed prior), so any physical attack that didn't overcome the skill will just be nullified. That wasn't magic.
Magic and skills are different, and being a mage, he is indeed seriously handicapped by not using magic. He can't use magical buffs or any actual spells. If he had to fight Shalltear again but in the same conditions as this match, he would've died in seconds.

I think it's natural for most men to desire sex, in a totally normal way. If you're an all-powerful being but lack the means to have sex, I'd say that's something you'd wish to have, especially when it'd be tied to having romantic relationships and possibly offspring.
This is exactly the point I'm trying to make when I demand more sex in anime: It's natural and it'd make sense for many situations. Plus in the case of Overlord, it'd make things really interesting: Albedo's and the other girls' reaction to Ainz having a sexually functioning body; also their reaction to Ainz acquiring a human body for himself; then the consequences to Ainz' as a human body would introduce a tangible weakness that human kingdoms could try to exploit; and the whole road to acquiring such body. Lots of interesting, fun scenes to be had.

Well, A. I think a lot of that drive is hormonal, which, as a skeleton, you'd no longer have.
And B. The whole POINT of liches is that they are a lifelong pursuit of forbidden magic that will allow you to shed your humanity in order to become immortal. It's literally their whole deal. No lich is gonna be like "I wanna give up my immortality and a ton of my power just so I can fuck again." I think Ainz did do Albedo injustice. She was originally a bitch (read: slut) but he changed her parameter to be madly in love with him - and left it as is. It's not out of character since Ainz is pretty thoughtless outside of PVP, but her frustrations are entirely his fault. It's part of the story - I get that. Just feel unfair for Albedo.

I think his point is that sex and sex scenes aren't inherently pointless even if they don't develop the plot or characters. According to Mfauli, sex scenes or the presence of sexual intercourse, even if implied, is important in making the characters more believable.
The sheer absence of sex in shounen stories is very glaring, especially in harem and romance titles.
Regardless if Mfauli is being truthful about his assertion or not, the assertion itself has merit. Normal people do have sex, and it is very unnatural how mainstream anime (typically shounen and similar) treat it like a taboo.

Normal people also go to the bathroom every couple hours. Most shows don't show it because it's not relevant to the plot.
Unless your story is about a romantic relationship or is porn, sex scenes are, by definition, gratuitous.
Overlord is a story about a skeleton conquering the world, not a screwball sex romp between a lich and a succubus.
