I imagine it's going to be A LOT like the recent battle royal that One Piece had.
You'll get a lot of schmucks getting eliminated right away, until only the powerful guys are left, and then it mostly devolves into your standard DBZ battles.
Btw was it told what happens to those that fall off the stage? Surely they wonīt die, because otherwise the "no killing"-rule would be nonsense.

Canīt be stated often enough: Freezer is the best character currently. Whenever his dramatic, infernal music sets in ... whooo boy! And just imagine: Heīs actually stronger than Goku currently!

What I got from the last few episodes is that Freeza is equally ranked with Goku, but Freeza has better Ki control. I don't know what Goku has going for him though.

I don't think that's the case. The only real change between him now and in his last appearance is that Golden Freeza doesn't have such a short time limit anymore.
SSJ Blue and Golden Freeza are still pretty much evenly matched. Which means Kioken Blue would obliterate Golden Freeza.
And yet Goku couldnīt breat free from the Hakaishin energy.

This is already awesome. I love how the backdrop of all the fights right now is just "endless explosions!" Should make an awesome fighting game stage someday.
1 episode, 1 minute? Hell yeah we'll be doing this tournament for an entire year!
It occurs to me, Universe 6 only showed 8 of it's members last week. I think the last two members are going to end up being humans. Since their Earth was just restored a couple arcs ago, it would make sense if they suddenly discovered new powerful people on it.
Kinda surprised 18 is one of the lone wolf dickholes instead of sticking with Krillin.
And they finally added Freeza to the intro and commercial break.
Every single with Freeza is golden. No pun intended. I actually would not be surprised if there is a short tag team of him and Goku since obviously Freeza seems to love dishing out the punishment. and Goku just loves fighting in general.
And seems I was right about being knocked out. Just transports you to the spectator seats.
But yeah, it could be that there are a few humans in the mix in U6. Then again U7's humans only got as strong as they did because of everything they went through. Wonder how that turned out. Was it an exact copy of the current Earth as it was the moment they made the wish? Because if that is the case than all of the powerful warriors were not present.
