Youīre talking too much about how Goku was killed. The important question is: How the hell can Goku WIN?
Letīs recap that:
- Hit cant be hit
- Hit can hit without hitting someone
- on top of that, Hit can stop time, so logically speaking thereīs nobody he couldnt kill while time is stopped.
- heīs also on a power level of a god, probably around Gokuīs level
What can Goku realistically (my mistake, eh?) do to win the next encounter? Hit isnīt dangerous because of pure power, heīs dangerous because of his abilities. If this anime wants to make any effort in properly laying this down, then Goku (and his friends) have to learn these abilities that Hit only currently has. This is like One Pieceīs Haki that suddenly played a big role.
Ofc itīs not what I expect. I expect Goku to power his way through, dumb as it is.
And Gokuīs death this episode was animated really badly. Didnīt feel serious at all. Itīs not getting better by having him fight already again in the preview, sigh.

But after seeing it a few times, Goku figured it out and just kind of adapted.

Or, with 120 characters in the tournament, there will just be other characters participating that are at Krillin's level. Not every universe's team is going to be made up of all Hits.

I was more surprised to see Roshi get in over Yamcha. I know Yamcha is a joke and Roshi just fought again in Resurrection F, but c'mon.
Since the end of the Cell arc. They wished everyone that Cell killed back to life. That includes 17.

I think it's easier for C17 and C18 to become stronger. They are still androids/cyborgs. So it's a matter of upgrading them.
But itīd suck because youīd know from the beginning that Kuririn has no chance at winning the tournament. Itīd be a dumb matter of WHEN he encounters some of the more ridiculous fighters. So I hope youīre wrong and he gets a real upgrade as opposed to shitty opponents.
