But Zamasu was in the process of annhilating all life in all the universes. You´d think at some point the guys overseeing the universes would do something.

As for trunks and may, I hope one of two things happens:
    - they really return and plan to use the super dragonballs to restore their real timeline
    - they give up on living in that new timeline where they´re just doppelgangers and become some sort of galactic police force, maybe joining that guy that keeps bothering Bulma

It´s just so unsatisfying at the moment, knowing that they actually lost AND they don´t have a place anymore.
maybe this will be the reason that future trunks became a timeCop like in the xenoverse games... they could actually do a spin off series and they will have enough material for years...

But the Super Dragon Balls are scattered over the two universes so they can't use those on their own. Like I said...the Namekian Dragon Balls are their only way.
now that we are talking about the dragon balls and that they need to be tied to someone... who is the creator of the super dragon ball? it needs to be someone that is beyond each universe to be able to send the balls to atleast 2 universes...

Whis and his dad are not gods. And Zeno is something beyond a god.

I think the accepted interpretation of his statement is that he killed all 12 of the Kaioshins. Which in turn would kill all 12 of the Gods of Destruction.

None of the gods, not even Zeno, seem to be omniscient. None of them know what's going on in other universes unless they happen to be visiting one at the time.

There's really nothing preventing Zamasu from showing up in a universe, immediately killing the Kaioshin, taking the God of Destruction with it, and then moving on to the next. Once the gods are all dead, he's free to exterminate mortals at his leisure.

We don't know that the Super Dragon Balls follow the same rules as the Namekian Dragon Balls. They might not be reliant on the life of their creator.

As for who created them, it was someone named Zalama. They told us that much when Bulma asked that guy to tell them everything about the Super Dragon Balls.

Ah, that sucks. I knew Bulma was going to be able to build a time machine with future her's notes. I guess they wanted to make sure that they machine wasn't going to be around to serve as a future get-out-of-jail-free card(despite literally having wishes still at their disposal).

I liked Bulma being so practical though. Like, why are these fuckups always trying to wish for shit you can get without using wishes?

Although, if she'd just let Goku make his wish and get the crystal after, she'd have gotten what she wanted. So she fucked up there.

Also, how did Beerus even know the crystal was for a time machine? Wtf does he know about science? Although he did also know exactly where the time machine was, so I guess it's just godly omniscience.

I really love 18 getting so much screentime though.

I always thought Shenron just didn't like hanging around. Didn't realize he literally can't maintain his form.

Feel so bad for King Kai...

    episode 69 is out
    -------------------

I´m glad the episode was very self-aware of itself, marking Arale´s power as the powers of a gag manga. That way I could enjoy her beating the others.

Now, I just wonder why these filler episodes are necessary. I´d rather have meaningful diversion. Like the original Dragon Ball had serious story, but then had the tournaments to take a break from adventure. But both were meaningful. There´s nothing meaningful in this or last week´s episode, and next week looks like brainless filler again, even though it is a tournament, but probably a 1-episode silly-tournament.

The fight against the Red Ribbon-army was serious. The fight against Piccolo was serious. The tournament at Uranai Baba´s was serious. All three tournaments were very serious. Yes, Dragon Ball always had serious main stories. With comedic elements every now and then, sure.

My favorite serious part of dragon ball was on one of the tournaments when Krillin was getting destroyed by some guy that would release some powerful bad smell. Krillin was badly losing up until the part where Goku reminded Krillin that he doesn`t actually has a nose. Sooooooooooooo serious. Master Ros... I mean Jackie Chun simulating the moon with Krillin`s head and beating a wolf man by throwing a bone off the ring also had me on the edge of my seat.

You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful. -Marie Curie

You can be snarky all you like, but all of that was indeed very exciting back then :P

And you´re talking about the first tournament only. Subsequent tournaments got a lot more serious.

You act as if dragon ball was mostly serious with occasional funny parts, in reality it`s the exact opposite, re-watch the series or something. You cherry picked a few parts to prove your point, so I did the same, care to evaluate DB as a WHOLE or is selective memory the new black?

    Incorrect.

Not feeling these episodes. Total filler. I wish they´d use the time between arcs to expand on the characters. For examps, if Gohan plays a bigger role in the next arc, show us some episodes featuring his daily life. Hate those stand-alone filler eps.

showing us his daily life would be enough in 1 episode... showing his transition from school teacher to bad ass character on the other hand...

Why does Future Trunks get Hot Mai. So Jelly. Back in episode 67

I thought the baseball game was funny. Most laughs I had since Konosuba.

Okay, that was cool as shit. Hit's lethal powers are everything I hoped they'd be. Like, literally, I was hoping he'd have an attack that passed through people's bodies and hit their organs directly. And it looks like he's increased his Time-Skip to however-the-fuck long he wants. He also seems to be able to phase through attacks, so I guess he controls Space as well as Time.

Goku knew he was coming for him though, so the obvious answer here is that Whis hired Hit to assassinate Goku as special training.

Which...Goku seems to have failed. Time for Dragon Balls already?

Space, time and maybe other dimensions. It's not that important. He's like a ghost only becoming physical when needed for his strike.

Oh and the preview quality was awful.

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.

The animation doesn't really support the whole "crush only your vital organs" thought. He still makes an impact on the skin. I daresay he bypasses armour, but not your muscles. It's not like he has an invisible hand that squeezes your heart.

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~

It has to do more than bypass armor. Because Goku doesn't wear armor. And a simple punch to the chest wouldn't stop Goku's heart.

The impact on the skin may simply be his chest crumpling from his heart being crushed.

whis trying to kill goku to have him learn a lesson?

anyway as long as whis is around he can reboot anything from happening, no need for the dragon balls...

That's how Goku learns all his lessons. Somebody uses a new technique on him, and he adapts to it.

The only way to learn how to counter Hit's one-hit-kill attack is to get hit by it. But it's an instant kill so...

But now that he's taken it, next time he faces Hit(probably in the tournament), he'll be ready for it.

Whis can only rewind time 3 minutes. And he's on the other side of the universe atm.
