Super psyched. Last couple episodes were obviously filler, but you can tell this is the real deal because of the intro change.

picoro was dead in the alternate time line so no one that dies in that time line can be revived which is a refresher, but still lets hope she does survives...

last question, does anyone remembers when did they Red Rocket team got chibi sized? was it in DBZ somewhere or in the original DB?
now it seems weird that they are still small kids when the actual timeline differed from the future trunks timeline only after the friezer saga...

According to the wiki, them wishing for youth was just something that happened between arcs. It happened some time after Dragonball, but before the Cell Saga.
I'm going to have to keep reminding myself that even though Future Mai looks like she's the same age as Future Trunks, she's actually over 50.
Yeah, but main timeline has Super Dragonballs now. So if they really wanted, they could probably bring back all the dead people in Future Timeline.

its weird as fuck that they wished for youth before the cell saga AND they are still the same age as trunks and goten, which they both were born after the cell saga...
Let's give em a bit of time to explain things because we don't know much at the moment.
While the blue hair? Maybe he just...grows out of it when he gets older. First I thought that it was a different time line where all those years of peace made him weak and unable to transform but he clearly says he is the same one that went back in time to the Android/Cell Saga. So this peace would not have lasted long enough for him to deteriorate so fast. Black Goku looks more like Goten. But he isn't in that timeline.
Guess we'll see next week.

I just thought that trunks hair being Blue was to associate him taking after his mother in physical appearance instead of Vegeta now that he is adult'ish age.
As for trunks not flying I thought he was trying to avoid being detected by Black. As flying uses a lot of Ki which would make it easy to be detected. That what I thought. :/

Anyway, now THIS is what I call a story! Obviously, Iīm waiting for it to be fucked up by putting in too much fun and jokes and plotholes, but for now Iīm happy about what I see. Bulma killed, May killed, Trunks standing in front of an evil Goku. Thatīs serious shit. Thatīs the kind of serious plot Iīve been talking about and demanding. Maybe this will be the first arc to rival those of DBZ. Itīs even more interesting because this appears to be the SAME Trunks from back when he visited our heroes in the Cell-arc, right? Something must have seriously fucked up everything, since he canīt even turn into a super saiyajin anymore. Or maybe he didnīt because he had to suppress his ki, which Black Goku can sense? And since he knows heīs too weak, even as SSJ, he doesnīt even try. Hm.
Will be interesting. Even moreso: If we assume that Trunks will go back in time, where does it leave Black Goku? Is it another story where weīll experience the origins of Black Goku, like we did with Cell, or will Black Goku find a way to timetravel, too?

okay, this is REALLY good so far. I donīt know when i was feeling sad and anxious the last time I watched Dragon Ball. Oh man, pls donīt fuck it up. Itīs really frustrating that as soon as the story is not about Goku, it becomes interesting. Goku is like this invincible plot-device that gouverns ALL.
Whatever. First two episodes of this arc are promising.

Isnīt it obvious that Trunks suffers from some kind of PTSD? Seeing the appearance of Gokuīs reminded him of Black Goku, who just killed his mother and love interest. Which, btw, was super-gruesome. The way you could see future Bulma fade away as her body was evaporated by Black Gokuīs energy. On the other hand, Mayīs death was super pointless. "Iīll buy you some time, Trunks, go!" - Trunks keeps lying on the ground, watches as May is killed. lol.

this arc continues to be strong. HOWEVER, with Goku Black appearing already in front of the heroes, I fear that it now devolves in another stupid fight.
What made the DBZ-arcs so great was how it had lots of stuff going on, lots of confrontations between various characters. See Cell, where we started with C14 and C15, then C16, C17 and C18 were introduced, kicking everybodyīs ass. Then basic Cell arrived and it turned into an exciting hunt that ended with him going to imperfect and perfect Cell. If nothing happens next episode, itīd be as if we went straight to perfect Cell :/

it can always go the way that full strength black cannot move through time so now they will just prevent his invasion into the past.
also no one seems to talk about trunks description of black, "he already destroyed a number of planets". and him having those earing of the kaio-samas... i hope that black is some kind of future god of destruction that goku and vegeta will need to surpass.
both of them going sayain blue and then fusing for the sake of the future timeline would be epic, if they won a god of destruction by that way and then birus banning their fusion because he is afraid would be funny as fuck....
another theory (mainly because i am drunk and my imagination is running wild) is that maybe black was actually part of birus dream instead of goku, and for the first time he will be fighting for the good guys against a future/alternate god of destruction
