Why did they bother to defrost Natsu just to throw him into a cell?

Wouldn't it have been easier to just leave him frozen?

I think it's more likely that the demons blame Gray for killing Deliora.

But then why would Silver smell like Gray? Also it was Ul who killed Deliora. When they defrosted it they realised the demon had long been drained of it's life force.

And the weird thing is, Silver kills demons. I'm not sure what his deal is.

We know that. But does Tartaros? Would anyone who wasn't there actually attribute the kill to Ul, who had supposedly been dead for years?

From the outside perspective, it's probably thought that Lyon tried to revive Deliora, then Gray and co. killed him.

I agree with you that someone could attribute Deliora's death to Gray. Someone like Silver who uses ice magic himself might know differently but who knows.

It seems right that Gray would inherit some of Silver's magic after this arc as his long overdue powerup, but to be able to instant-freeze people would be pretty OP.
