What are your favorite HYPE-songs from past anime?

Ahoi,

so I´m trying to make another little hype-video for this year´s E3 (electronic entertainment expo, covering upcoming video games). I already gathered all the video material I need, I just ... cannot seem to find a good song for the video. I had used Gintama-openings, some NGE or Eureka Seven or Attack on Titan-stuff in the past. Now I went through all of my anime music and nothing really excites me. So ... suggestions? :>

That´s just my motivation for starting this thread, though. Feel free to see it as a general "hype music"-thread. It´s just that I need a song within the next 2-3 hours, or I won´t have time to make the video. :P

A little late, but I always thought the GITS: SaC intro was pretty hype (Rise).

I'd look for soundtracks (BGM) that's not easily identifiable. You want the audience to be hyped about whatever you're showing, not think "Oh, this track is from Attack on Titan."

Have it accompany the clip, not take over it.

I always loved Nowhere from Madlax. I always thought that was a pretty good hype song.

Well, I chose something non-anime in the end, the main theme from Pacific Rim. The second part of the video uses the Sword Art Online-theme for obvious reasons. Was fun making, and yeah, I´m not a great video composer, only doing it for the fun :P

Payday 2 has some/ more than enough songs that get you pumped up. Perfect for trailers/combat videos imho.
not anime though.

I wouldn't use such songs for the video you made though. It's not like you have something to "vent" the hype you are building up with that in that video.

I'd rather use something like Kill Paris - I'm Free, or Shockline - Robot Love for that.
