the new naruto game for gc, including more characters and stuff is supposed to release soon, they both come to north america soon, ps2 or gc ill be happy
ps2, gc or xbox, i'll be happy
coming to the US? confirm that for me please
that'd be sweet if the games come to US. but you better not be lying
these games will NOT come to the US; and it's better that way. why you ask? like always whenever a game/anime/ ANYTHING japanese, ets licensed for the US, it is ALWAYS screwed up from the original. Dont believe me? just look at every anime brought over, either it's been censored or the dubbing just sucks.
And why not Xbox? cuz it sells like crap in japan.
dont get fooled by those games they really suck at least the 1st one my friend got it imported from japan. you got like 8 characters and can get sharingan kakashi and kyubi naruto as exrtas. it will take you about a day to clear the game 100% and then all you can do is kick sakuras ass all the time or sasuke if you want. besides every character got like a maximum of 10 punches and combos + a counter and a special.
Don't forget that 95% of the US population knows absolutely nothing of Naruto, and so there would be no point in releasing it to the US.
For people to purchase a piece of merchanise from a sucessful franchise, they have to be aware that the francise exists in the first place!
It looks good but I'm not into importing...
I'm importing simply because it's a fighting game and I already know the (basic) story. I have to adimt, the first Taisen did disappoint me, but it's still fun to pull out and play once in a while.
I can't wait to get the GC version, but it'll take me forever just to save up some money to import it XP
i think the ps2 version looks considerably better than the gc version =p
i guess htere's hope for the naruto 2 for the gc though
there are tons of good fighting games though that are never imported i'm sure.. speaking of which.. has there been, or is ther egoing to be an NTSC/UC release of guiltygear xx?
i'm sorry i know it's a bit off topic.. it does sort of relate though cause it's a rawxoring fighting game and if that didn't get translated then there's no hope for naruto =p
does the gc have regional crap though? or can you play any game on an unmodded gc? i guess they'd still prefer to translate it though if they were going to launch it anywhere but japan

eww....considerably better?? all i have to say is "painted faces" ::shudders::
10/4/04 - 8/20/07
well the game isn't released as yet but i think that it will be better than the ps2 game. Check out this video. You can clearly see that this GC game is visually superior to that of the ps2 naruto.
Formerly known as 'Animemaster'
IGN has posted a few videos and a slight preview/review of the game

Good stuff, I might consider importing it if non naruto crazed fans say its a good game.

GGXX was released state side well over a year ago... I have a copy sitting on my shelf, I bought it for like 20 bucks
It sold like crap over here even though its a really good 2D fighting game... Unfortunetly 2D fighters dont sell well over here at all
For the person asking about playing imports, the GC can play imports if you purchase the freeloader (its pretty much another game shark with the added bonus of playing imports) You can pick those up at your local EB
Actually, the Action Replay is the gameshark with added import playing capabilities and it runs for $35-40. The freeloader simply lets you play imports, and it's $15-20. Jus to let ya know
