    Movie: Ant-Man

Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

    More Ant-Man:

I'm genuinely really looking forward to this, it seems like it'll be a whole lot of fun.

I love Paul Rudd (in a mostly hetero sense) but I have little hope for this movie. I think they should at least have cast an amazing female supporting cast member as a love interest, and I don't think Evangeline Lilly fits that bill. From the trailer, it looks like he's a criminal type instead of a scientist, a change which doesn't make much sense.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

You`re thinking on Hank Pym, that was Scott Lang.

I just wonder if they're going to do any kind of thing right before or during the credits involving Cassie. She's definitely in the movie. Obviously way too soon for anything like that in terms of any future films, but it would be a cute nod.

    Any of you watched it?

I haven't found the time yet.

I wasn't planning on going, but a friend of mine convinced me to go and I'm glad he did. It starts off slow, but I enjoyed it. It's probably my favorite introductory movie for MCU.

edit: for anyone that does go,as per usual Marvel has mid and post credit scenes.

I didn't even realize this movie was out. Never saw a commercial or trailer for it.

Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood."

Happy for Paul Rudd this movie is a success. Next we'll see Ant-man in Civil War.

I felt like the movie was pretty average, it didn´t take any chances and as such is not good or bad, it merely exists.

Were Captain America's or Thor's origin movies any more or less so?

Just watched it, and I really enjoyed it. Fun movie, and the comedy was quite solid. Thought it could've used more action though.
