The beginning of this season was boring as hell. I had to wait this long before I decided to watch this for completion's sake, but things ramped up pretty well.

Alright, that was a pretty cool fight by Ryu. Double levelling up was pretty cool, though previous episodes told us that after levelling up you're actually a bit off until you get used to your new stats.
Hedin's move is going to be using lightning to possess dead or near dead people, which ain't a bad move here considering those healer girls were a bit shaky.

This didn't feel good. It felt like Bell got a random powerup that allowed him to run. He already got his upgrade from Hestia before. The whole talk with Freya before he took her flower would have also exposed the fact that she's Syr, since the entire thing was on broadcast.
After the extent that Ottar went through to fight them all, it didn't make a whole lot of sense for him to just concede when apparently he still had fight left.

Well, I'm glad that arc is finally over. It wasn't bad, but those huge breaks in the middle really killed the pacing.
In Season one episode 8, I thought Bell got stronger as he fought and this fight against the Red Minotaur is proof of that. So I do not think it should be a surprise that he got stronger fighting Ottar. To me the level difference between Ottar and Bell is the same as level one Bell vs the Red Minotaur from the deeper floors in episode 8.
Plus he has that skill Realis phrase that seems to boost his excella gain.

I think Buff was talking about AFTER he got buffed. In the middle of his chase with dogman, he got a boost that allowed him to outrun him. I thought that had something to do with Lili or something, like she ordered him to do it, which buffed him because she was the commander.
