Been looking forward to this for quite some time, and even more so since i saw the trailers.

Almost done watching episode 3 now, and damn i'm loving it so far.

Also, I have never used Netflix before, and since no torrents were available i thought i'd might as well check it out.
Thankfully they have some 'first month is free' deal when you sign up, and you can just cancel the subscription before the month is over to not have to pay after that, so that worked out perfectly for me :P

Edit: Hooooooly shit, dat episode 4.

I'm going to watch this series and hope it's faithful to the comics. Have they bothered explaining why Kingpin is white again, instead of black like in the movie?

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Well you did answer you own question, "is white again"... so that doesn't require an explanation. It's what he is originally.

Because it is not a sequel/prequel to the movie.

Five episodes in, started quite slow but it got much better at the 4th episode.

Done watching, honestly thought it would be a bit better... the pace was a bit slow for me, and scenes over-long. That said good action and Fisk made a very good and interesting villain, so all around very well worth watching. Looking forward to another season of this.

My one complain is the amount of punishment DD can take in one fight, they probably should have made some of those fights shorter. Otherwise, pretty good series.
