Well, there's the conclusion.

I kinda expected Kumiko to win the solo because of protagonist powers, but at the same time it didn't feel realistic for her to suddenly overtake the other girl who seemed to just be better overall (even though they keep saying that it's "hard" to distinguish them, clearly Taki and Reina could). As for Kumiko being a music teacher, that was indeed somewhat predictable by the last episode or two of the series.

Kanade quickly became my one of my favourite characters. She's just so playful and expressive, it's quite intoxicating.

A very well animated series with enjoyable character interactions that go deeper than your standard tropes. I liked it.
