I realize so many things in Bleach remind me of ideas used in YuYu Hakusho. Byakuya's senbon zakura is Kurama's petal attack in the Dark Tournament fight against Karasu. The fear guy that fucked Byakuya up looks like Karasu. This quincy using his blood to curse opponents reminds me of the paint ninja that Kurama fought. Starting to make me think Kishimoto isn't the only one who borrows ideas from Togashi (although he blatantly copies the latter in a much worse way).

Why wouldn't they? they have never established their strength in battle against a named character...
