Something we and the characters already know, which makes it superfluous. I'm fine with extra stuff but not when something is better without it.

Peace.
It's for Inko as well. She "knows", but the fact that she had doubts meant she could do with some reinforcement.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
For all its amazing abilities, Inaho's eye is missing the most important function.
X-Ray vision.
That, or Inaho's poker face has actually leveled up more than I can imagine.
Peace.
Wait, Wait... I thought that scene meant to reinforce (kinda like the "all seeing eye") the fact that Inaho knew about Inko hiding behind cover when they released the prisoner
"You see everything, right?" - " Ya, sorry for dragging you into it "

Yeah, but what does seeing into space have to do with that?
Seeing a giant robot behind a rock is one thing. Seeing fighting in space from the ground is another.
Peace.
Well in Inko's eyes Inaho's actions meant something like this :"Even though I *knew* you were there, it had to be done - it was the best option I (my eye) could come up with. Please trust me"
And the scene itself in relation to the please-trust-me part: "See how freaking awesome my eye is? I can see them pooping in space, how could I be wrong!"
Yeah, all extra stuff. If that entire space eye thing were removed, that scene would have played out exactly the same.
And people won't be complaining about how he could see into space.
The only meaningful reason it should be there is if they use his space eye again in a later episode.
I hope they don't.
Peace.
Slaine is so mean, I really wonder how this will all end and who kills whom.
Most of you really took that scene as Inaho being able to see things in detail in space?
I thought it was pretty clear that all Inaho could see were the laser flashes. They're localized at the moon base in a small area, so anyone with a telescope could infer that there was some Martian infighting going on up there.
No different than being able to see tracer rounds in the distance, a rocket launch, or occasionally spotting the ISS zip by.
His only comment was "It's over," not something insanely specific like, "The white one won." His zoom eye is no better than binoculars or a cheap telescope.
Also, I feel bad for Bastard-Hime, and she's one hell of a manipulative bitch herself. It made my day that even Yuki referred to Slaine as the douchebag he is.
HS - Episode 20

That's been discussed and considered. The more relevant argument was the point of the scene. It is even more senseless if the point of it all was to show that his eye is the equivalent of binoculars.
Slaine needs to be slain.
Yeah I just had to say it.
Inaho had more reason to despair but never gave up on Seylum. Slaine even admitted his weakness in this episode. He deserves some punishment for betraying everything Seylum stood for and deceiving her for his own interests. It's ridiculous how he said he was prioritizing the princess's well being without actually considering her will.
The mini-maid finally did something useful. I was beginning to want her to die after becoming Slaine's bitch.
I find the theme of throwing away one's humanity for power quite intriguing. Slaine is doing it with his spirit, while Inaho with his body. The funny thing is, neither of them actually want power. It's just a means to an end.

During this episode a sudden comparison between Inaho/Slaine and Yang Wen Li / Reinhard popped into my head, especially when I considered how the latter of each rose to power via politics for their certain blonde women, with their rivals being more adept in the field of warfare.Originally Posted by shinta
The reveal this episode was simply so satisfying. I felt so glad for Seylum and Inaho since they can finally move forward. Lemrina's realisation too, not because I like to watch her suffer but because now she's going to fuck Slaine up.

But will princess 2 be able to do that? She has no real power outside of her blood, and she still loves that asshat. If she refuses to power the Aldnoah drives, Slaine can just lip rape her and use it himself. Next, he will use loli-maid as the new princess using that bullshit camou tech lol.
Peace.
It all comes down to Slaine underestimating how bitter she is about all this. We've seen that Slaine doesn't read/care about her enough to know how much she misses him, and at the same time feels bad for her.
I'm not expecting anything grand, mostly a sudden knife-in-the-abdomen move.
edit: yeah... that would suit her. She'd even find it romantic and satisfying to finally "take Slaine from her sister" before committing suicide.

Well...I'm not so sure now where loli-maid stands. When the series began I thought she was loyal to Seylum and only unwillingly serving Lemrina and Slaine. As the series progressed, I became more certain that she had betrayed Seylum and was loyal to Slaine and the Slaine x Seylum [Ryll barfs] pairing.
Now...I'm not really certain where she stands. Slaine was using his shitty Earth knowledge to "seduce" her (she was on Earth too, she shouldn't be amazed by this stuff), but once Seylum woke up, it felt like more and more of an act. Rittso was more keen on bringing back Seylum's memories of Earth and Inaho after all, and while she certainly wants to keep on Slaine's good side, she doesn't do anything to push Seylum toward him now that she is awake.
She made friends with the Terrans after all, despite constant reservations. It seems that her leanings have always been toward keeping Seylum safe this entire time, whether it be a wariness around her Terran rescuers, suspicion around a particular boy that she's been warming up to, getting into Slaine and Lemrina's good graces by being a servant, or subtly trying to warn Seylum to not talk to loudly or joyfully about Inaho's name.
I guess my conclusion is that her loyalty isn't toward any particular side. It is solely toward Seylum's long-term safety. Her happiness is a secondary concern, but not altogether ignored.
And on goes the chain of ridiculous endings for this season.
The only good part of this episode was Inaho saving Slaine because Seylum asked him.
So some random dude gets to bone Seylum now.
If there is no movie to continue this,
Peace.
What a horrible, anti-climatic ending.
Slaine gives up and tries to suicide, and apparently some of these people like him so much they want to suicide, too?
I think it would have been much more interesting if Slaine and the fake princess sent their own message out claiming Seylum was fake and they have the real princess. However, it does make sense that Slaine was ready to give up after the horrible outcome of all of his plans.
I did enjoy the rest of the Earth cast being somewhat competent this episode, able to repel an attack with 2 super mechs.
The worst part for me was the NTR.
Peace.
