    Bit of both.

Like, the twins pulled off the last attack thanks to their motto of not having memories and always charging forward, looking for something new.

But... Hinata/Kageyama managed to counter that because they had memories of speed being fallible.

Inarizaki's captain noted that memories aren't useless, and that final bit kind of symbolised why Karasuno beat them.

    Movie - The Dumpster Battle

    -----------------------

I forgot this movie came out a while ago, until I saw some youtube shorts.

Having finished the movie, my thoughts are that I didn't like it as much as I liked the previous series. I don't know if it's the content or the format. It feels like I get more pumped during the weekly episodes and cliffhangers, whereas this just dragged at times. I get that Nekoma's style is being persisten and we got to see it all, but it's not as entertaining as what I remember Haikyuu used to be.

I mostly kept getting distracted by the lady in the sweater.

Thematically, concluding Kenma's arc felt appropriate. I don't really care much for that dude, but I get that he's Shoyo's friend and Nekoma's historical rivalry needs to be dealt with.

    Hopefully next season is good.

You're not alone. Apparently (haven't seen the movie) they cut tremendous amounts of the manga out to make this whole game(arc) fit into a movie. The focus shifted to Kenma versus Hinata more or less when the og had moments of many member's of both team's growth and story sprinkled in which is how matches in Haikyuu feel so epic to begin with... Many seem unsatisfied, and to your concern, apparently, the rest of the series adaptation is going to be a few more movies...

I didn't watch it yet with the hope that they might give it the "Demon Slayer" treatment and reprocess the movie into a season of TV down the line with some of the removed content added back in. It isn't impossible, per say. Haikyuu deserved better...
