I'm forced to agree with Shinta, though my words wouldn't have been so harsh. The worst parts were the abruptness of it and indeed the "I have a personality" solution to everything. It would have still been cool if Niva had simply refused to shoot Chaika, but that's it. Of course then they wouldn't have had any way to end the show. Funniest of all is that Niva saved the day (and the world) by having a personality, yet the "happy" end had her locked away in some storage while everybody else lived their lives happily ever after. What the hell was the ending writer thinking? Niva should have been there with the rest of the heroes, granting her robotic friendship to the recuperating Chaika.
Frederica's role really was pitiful from the beginning till the end. I can't help but feel sorry for the poor draconeko. Even finally getting the contract wasn't any good considering Tooru's state of mind and motives. I suppose it wouldn't really matter to her so much in the sense she only wanted to fight, but it still wasn't fair.
