Yes. The point is, I don't like that rule. I want them to change it. So I make a thread so I can discuss changing it. People will read it. If they agree, they'll support it, if they don't, they'll argue against it. Mods read the arguments and decide if they want to change the rule or not.

That's how rules get set in the first place.
