When the national idol Kusakabe Yuka suddenly retired from the entertainment business, it shocked the world and it devastated teenager Hata Kosaku. Kosaku was Yuka's biggest fan and her departure left him depressed. His classmates at the Tamo Agriculture School finally are able to get him to leave his room and attend his class, but to everyone's amazement, Kusakabe Yuka (her stage name) comes into the class under the name Kinoshita Ringo as a transfer student. Kosaku realizes he has the once in a lifetime opportunity to get to personally know his dream girl and, together with his group of friends, try to find out why she is here and become closer than just classmates.

This is absolutely hilarious. It is a mix of Sora no Otoshimono harem comedy and Gin no Saji farm school antics with really funny characters. I haven't laughed this hard watching an anime in a while.

Yup, it's a likeable anime. Lots of anime tropes and mild ecchi/fetish.

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.

It's kind of on the obscene side of ecchi series (a bizarre and wavy line dependent on art style), though not as bad as fetishistic garbage like Maken-ki. I wouldn't say it is as good as Sora no Otoshimono, because Nourin is way more slice of life series than having a progressive plot and very strong character development mixed in with the ecchi like SnO is.

    It makes me smile though.

Honestly, the best (though unsaid) part of it is that Ringo, enticed by the tasty oblong vegetables she was continually sent, has decided to make Kosaku her own. While she's still less than tolerant of his obsession with her, she's at the same time violently possessive of him, leading to all the fights with Minori.

What's the term for someone who is creepily possessive like a yandere, but also a kuudere...except without the dere at all so far?

    YANKEEUU!

I just watched episode 3, and Ringo is so cute/hot. I really like her name too. Loli types with fruit names are great (i.e. Mikan).

The chubby girl was sorta annoying this episode, kinda like a cheap villain. The commentary running in the background was hilarious.

This show is very silly, but that's okay.
I've been enjoying the various parodies. The 2-3 shots they took from Death Note were pretty funny.
