Both Kenshin and Hiko kick ass, but I had to decide for one. So I voted Kenshin.

Hmmm I'll vote for Hiko. Afterall, he is the don who taught Kenshin and is the best at the Kuzo ryu sen.

Kenshin or Hiko... I eventually went for Hiko since his amekakeru ryu no hirameki is probably stronger (imo)

In the end, the only thing that truly defeated Shishio was his own medical condition. If the judging is just on physical strength and ability and the battle is for less than the 15 minutes that he is allowed, then he will come out victorious.
just watching this anime and i like it very much already. kenshin is definitely my most favourite caharacter here.

anyway, Aoshi will always be my favorite, but he wasn't here, so i chose Soujirou, who is also nice.
Hiko sejirou is the strongest, way more than Kenshin, and even more than Shishio, he knows all the Hiten mitsugristy style perfectly, he has a body structure like a old fashioned Samurai, and he doesn't care much about killing, which makes him the god of RK!

Hiko is superman, and there is no kryptonite in the Kenshin world. Nuff said. I still remember the awe in the first five minutes of the Kenshin OVAs...
You said the perfect words: Hiko is superman. That's the reason why he doesn't fight much because he makes the strongest guys look like little biatches.

yep, i kinda forgot, but when Hiko trained Kenshin the Succesion techinque, they show him throw down his cloak and then it made a big "huff" sound on the ground, like Piccolo's one. i think it weights about 40kg

Maybe that was just the nature of the cloak... some clothes are heavy the way they are made. But you may be right.
Yeah man when kenshin was fighting shisio i was like..... man bring on hiko.. he'll wipe the floor with this sorry excuse for a floor rag.
And with Shogo Amaksa...... hiko could have had him in one fight. So what he invented the Rai Ryu sen (i think)... kenshin never ever regained the edge he had as a battousai even after he learnt the amakakaru ryu no hirameki. Kenshin as the battousai could have had Shogo in one fight.
