Well, that was probably the push Luffy needed to be able to beat him up now.
Pretty sure they mean the second week of January.
Apparently they meant publishing year, so its just one week (new year of JUMP issuing).

Crazy chapter. I think this is another time where a conventional weapon like a gun has seemed threatening since Ben beckam. Most of these rifles and guns look like toys next to half of the abilities. First time in awhile where it's been serious
Nah, guns are just as much a threat to most users, if they are caught unaware and have no defense up.
Guns have always been a threat. Wasn't Whitebeard practically killed by a barrage of bullets from Teach's crew.
Yeah but after all those cannonballs sword swipes etc.
Which are usually just as effective as bullets anyway.

I think it's a bit too easy to discredit guns and cannonballs, since we've seen Luffy deflecting those effortlessly for about 10 years now. I just find it interesting that Doflamingo would even carry a pistol, seeing as he can amputate/decapitate people with a flick of his wrist.
