Yeah I was wondering about how nobody seemed to care/do anything about Crusty.
Then again the Royal Guard and the Raid were at the same time so not that much time has has passed, I forgot but did they tell Shiroe about it?

Marie was lamenting it has been over a month since she saw Naotsugu the last time. I don't remember or perhaps we don't even know when exactly it was that Crusty disappeared, but I'd assume it has been a week, at the very least.
I can't recall if Shiroe knows. But then again, he had his hands full enough even without that. It's not like he could have done anything about it, either, being tied to the raid.
Yeah I am guessing they didn't tell him because of that .
And back to this episode. I like how Shiroe just leveled the playing field a bit by purchasing every field in Yamato only to give it to Yamato. That way adventurers can't buy any property just like the People of the Land.

We're back into serious mode again (hopefully)! Perhaps Akatsuki's lightning kick (SFX incl) is the marker for when things get good, much like how Shakugan no Shana's quality was correlated with the number of Urusai!x3 per episode.
Does anybody agree that Idol-chan was obviously a boy? From an audience's perspective, I never suspected it. Even now I can only see her as a troll.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
I like how they invented automail and that Crusty ISN'T forgetting. Of course the princess wouldn't forget about him.
Still makes ya wonder where he is. I mean her arm isn't gone, it's somewhere else. Healing isn't effective because of it.
So Shiroe is not a real human?

I wasn't so worried about Lenessia forgetting him. I was worried about the author himself forgetting the whole thing! But I got a feeling his disappearence isn't widely distributed knowledge. I'd have expected Shiroe to talk about it with the leader of the fighting guild, as it seems likely at least all Round Table members would know. All in all it felt weird watching that Valentine foolishness when Crusty is who knows where and the only comments we got suggested no active effort to locate and rescue him.
It took away the little fun it was worth.Does anybody agree that Idol-chan was obviously a boy? From an audience's perspective, I never suspected it. Even now I can only see her as a troll.
She/he/it might as well drop dead now because no one could possibly care about it anymore.
Episode 14 - HS

The monk girl Shiroe was always remembering and looking up to is an idiot airhead. Swell. The biggest disappointment character wise in this show. I expected her to be a remarkable, insightful and inspiring person. I guess Shiroe liked her so much because she never had a worry in her life and thus was his total opposite.
Still no sign of Crusty and no indication anybody would give a shit he disappeared and has remained disappeared for a long time now. Instead it looks like we will get another fucking Minori arc. Is the author trying to kill his own work? I thought there's no way I'd even consider dropping Akatsuki Horizon, but what can man do against such reckless stupidity?
Edit: Actually, all the negativity made me forget one good thing: The Chinese money farming bot. I didn't see that coming, for sure, and it was brilliant.

I agree with you there. I forgot all about bots since it's been so focused on NPC's and Adventurers. Seems they all become the stoic kind of characters. But it was good to finally see a progenitor. One that hasn't been missing. But it seems it's kinda easy to 'overwrite' them by saying they should vanish since they don't have a real purpose and are just puppets and all.
super bad episode. i dont care about these characters :/

Kanami turned out .... like the idol girl in Shiroe's guild, applied differently.

Still no word on Crusty. Seems people forgot about him. Maybe as a side effect or something. Either that or they just don't care.
Another boring episode but at least in the end you see someone who's been in the intro for a damn long time.
A female Shiroe. At least I think it's him. He just took one of those gender changing potions to keep an eye on the kids.
What a useless episode. It's strange how this show can afford to have episodes like this (or actually whole arcs like this) while other shows run out of eps and are terribly rushed.
I don't care who the new character is as long as she's related to Minori's group. That association alone will make her a useless character. Since the novel author apparently listens to the fans, I hope somebody has asked him what the heck is wrong with everybody when nobody cares about Crusty's fate.
vastly prefered this ep over last week´s. but i guess im in the minority that like to see more of Rundel.
Still, i somewaht agree with kraco. there seem to be so many open main plot strings, yet this show is focusing on filler-ish stuff. Are we guaranteed to get a 3rd season? If not, that´d be a pathetic way to end a promising anime ... with fillers.

Serara's daydream about recieving the Pegasus flute made me laugh, god that voice, haha.
Well, I guess this one was okay.
However, the show is all over the place right now.
Crusty, Princess, Flavor Text, Tea Party, weird hostile NPCs with healthbar-swapping(?), missing legendary NPCs, low level questing, teachings, profession changes, that group with the huge train.
It's too much.
Let's not forget that... what was he called, Merlin? Is still working on the gates, he seemed to be so important but now he's just gone.
Merlin is doing research on the gates. And they can be fixed because I believe that fox chick fixed the ones in their town. Or so Shiroe said.
But yeah there are so many interesting ways the story can go with so many potential plots but now they are just focusing on these little twats. I like Rudy so it's always nice to see him and his intereaction with his....owner but I'd rather see it going back on track and find out just wtf happened to Crusty.
I don't get how Nureha looked like a big mastermind dictator at the end of the first season, owning the other city, using unknown magic and whatnot, but now she's pictured as a powerless figurehead, continuously being bossed around by those who should be her underlings, especially that one secretary type. I expect nothing from her any longer.
