I was not expecting that from Bartolomeo. That is hilarious. Seems to me that Don and the Navy will end up fighting the entire island at the rate Luffy and his crew are gaining allies.

There was too little information to be making any sort of educated guesses, Aokoji doesn't seem like the sort to work with Blackbeard so we'll have to wait and see. By the way there's some privileged information about him that was shown in the One Piece Z movie.

I don't give 2 shits about Rebecca though, her looks and circumstances remind me too much of Vivi and i'm not a fan of repetition. We've had enough damsel in distress arcs, i want the focus to be somewhere else.

He mentioned it was similar to Shiryuu's situation. Shiryuu started as an ally of the world government, then was cast away, and thus decided to join Blackbeard. Sounds a lot like a set up for Aokiji. Though, I'm thinking if that is indeed the case, it's more likely just Aokiji infiltrating Blackbeard's crew to exploit a weakness from within or something.

I was just thinking about it just now. I was wondering how Luffy would beat an ability like Bartolomeu's, but I think it makes sense now that Oda is building him up for some sort of role as a sacrifice. Bartolomeu is going to try to save Luffy during the next fight, and somebody is going to smash through the barrier and knock the guy out.

Bartolomeu was fantastic. It really shows that to be the Pirate King you really have to have everyone love you, even those who are despised by everyone.
