Well, the T.V series was about average. But what caught my eay was the OVA series Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen, I would give it a 9/10 it was awsome. The second installlment or ending to Tsuiokuhen was absolutely terrible. I kid you not it was horrible, almost as bad as Tekken!

So I reccomend the OVA (Tsuiokuhen), its better then the series also.

In the case of the series id give it 8 or 8.5/10

I'll be damn if someone doesnt recommend Kenshin... ok it may not be the best out there, but I think that it is good enough for everyone to watch it at least once

in my opinion, the ovas were better than the tv series and depressing like HECK. great story, great characters, great animation.

i only watched the 20 fisrt episodes of the tv series and i must say that i prefered the manga, but, but, but.... the OVAs are pieces of art, they have nothing to do with the series.

OVA 1, Trust + Betrayal owned. The series was also very good though it started to go down in quality aftert the Kyoto Arc.

Definatly watch it.

look like everybody here have good comments for Rourouni Kenshin, i will d/l and watch for sure. any is idea which fansub is good?

It is a great Anime as far as the first OAV set and the first 66 episodes of the series. I watched most of the early episodes 2 times, but awhile after i finished I never want to see it again really, so not the best for me.

StAn|SeRv Rurouni Kenshin has already been dubbed and it is available in .ogm dual audio format files. Each ep is about 215MB on average. High quality files. Moive and OVA's have also been dubbed.

Its Really good! i was hooked after 8 eps. i thought it was weird at first but then at ep 8 things are really starting to get interesting.

oh kenshin is the shit. quite possibly my favorite anime (= a deep story plus some comedy. thats grade A entertainment

I think this prob the greatest anime(completed) I have seen. It's not the type of anime for teh kiddies. It has a rather deep story that's kinda fact/fictional. Watch the 4 prequel OVAs before you start the series, then watch the 2 Seisouhen OVA's after you finish the series. If you watch one anime in your life this should be it!!

I have seen the TV-episodes (all 95) 2 times.. (On my third time now..

)
All I have to say about it is that it is one of the best animes I've ever seen..
