so yeah, if this is going full german romantic story, it's not about to be very popular here at Israel. we've got a thing against german "action" (selection), obsession with pure blood and officers grabs.
But the germans and selection-ism are the bad guys?
We had Ichigo's bankai guard we could attribute to some other culture.
But now we have some German, mixed with selection and pure-blood... So many elements I can not discard as background details anymore.
All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
"some german" is literally in every manga/anime that wants to use "fancy" sounding words that aren't latin or gibberish.
I never understood Japan's obsession with German.
I think it stems back to the fact that German was the first nation to set up diplomatic relations with Japan, or maybe the first on-land trade station in japan was german...
I've also heard that it's because german language has similar concepts and formations to japanese.
Blahhhh... now I don't like where this is going. More Naruto/Sasuke-ish crap. Or Goku-Vegeta, however you want to look at it...
