That wasn't near rape. It was a bit too aggressive an approach, but that would only count as harassment if the other party disliked it, and in this case she was on the fence about that.

As near as an non-adult anime would make it out to be.Originally Posted by shinta

edit: okay, well since I'm throwing in legalities I'll have to admit that you wouldn't be charged for attempted rape here either for lack of any sexual advances.

This show is a masterpiece of perversion, every single character has some kinky fetish.

It was about the time somebody shot the sheriff. Or judge, whatever. The dude had it coming. Characters who preach justice but are themselves just murderous lunatics are almost without exception annoying.
Quite a decadent party in any case, with a play like that. It'll take much to save it for Kiri and Iwai after this. But then again, I guess they didn't excatly go in waiting for merriness and good times, considering how so many want to slay Iwai. Too bad they weren't positively surprised. Iwai is so cute that I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to her, quite the contrary, she deserves happy moments after having been born to such an ill fate.
That episode was painfully slow, and I have no idea why Byouyinzaka just stand there. Rulebook seems incapable of targeting more than one person so if she really did make friends, she would have acted already.

It is also a master of making those scenes into something cute and innocent.Originally Posted by Ark

For some reason I don't like the loli.
Yeah, I think I've gone crazy as well.
Kidding aside, I think the it is mostly due to my well wishes for the Haimura and Iwai couple, and how the loli tries to destroy their future. Kiri acting like a pussy also pissed me off, and as his opponent, some of that irritation rubbed off on the loli as well.
The battle was pretty good though, random physics and impossible moves aside. It was miles better than the dumb noose battle in the previous episode. That was a waste of time.
Peace.
The loli got it right: That was really lame. I thought Kiri was something of a fighter with the scissors, but clearly he sucks if he gets that much pushed back by a little girl with so little mass he could have simply kicked her off the roof. Considering there are real monsters after Iwai, little girls being the least of them, Kiri really ought to do something about his current level of proficiency. Being happy and lovey-dovey won't cut it if he doesn't only want to cut flowers for Iwai's grave.
Physics don't really matter in this show, so I don't really see the loli having nonsensical weight parameters as Kiri's weakness. Sure he sucks, but not because the show decided that weight differences are irrelevant in combat.
Peace.
There wasn't really a single instant where Kiri would have even tried to put the weight difference to use. That's my complaint, not that the show would have forgotten it. Kiri forgot, and that's part of why he sucks at fighting. Even though such a thing should be next to instinctive.
Clashing weapons uses weight you know?
If weight, strength and power mattered at all, the knives would have flown out of the loli's hands the minute they clashed with Crime Edge.
Peace.
You can't put overly much strength and/or weight on scissors. You saw how they flew from Kiri's hand so easily. If they were proper, ergonomic Fiskars scissors, the situation would be a bit better for Kiri, but they are those ancient thin iron wire type, so he'd just hurt his fingers.
I'm pretty sure I can knock a knife out of the hand of a kid that small even with just scissors. He has a pretty big pair too.
My point is simple. Physics doesn't matter much in this show.
On that note, how can Kiri make straight cuts on arms, sides, etc. of enemies using scissors? I doubt it opens far enough to allow hip to snip it normally, and trying to slash with scissors is incredibly difficult because the blunt edge of one side blocks the sharp edge of the other.
