Synopsis: Haimura Kiri is a seemingly ordinary boy with one slight problem: he is obsessed with cutting other people's hair. One day he meets Mushiyanokouji Iwai, the "Hair Queen" who cannot cut her hair because of an inherited curse. Kiri finds out that his scissor, "Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge" is the only thing that can cut them. But little did he know that their meeting sparked the start of an old murder game to kill the "Hair Queen" using the cursed killing tools, the "Killing Goods." Can Kiri protect Iwai from the Killing Goods Owners? Let the game begin!

[Anime-Koi] - Episode 01

Japan and their never ending journey into finding new fetishes does it again! The first episode was really good though, i enjoyed it on many levels.

Quite a strange atmosphere in this show, for sure. I wish he hadn't cut her hair that short, though, but considering the flashback, I reckon he only wants to cut hair, not make it stylish or anything like that. Psychologically, after suffering under the cursed hair for so long, Iwai would also want it that short, at least, so I guess it made sense.

The steamy scene of Kiri just touching Iwai's hair (in the screenshot), right before the two killers entered, was very intensive indeed. I mean, not many H titles I've watched ever got anywhere near that.

I know right? It felt intense and "real" without being creepy. And when anime manages to transmit sensuality without it feeling creepy you know there's something there that's worth watching.

I could bear with the creepy factor regarding the main character´s hair fetish (it´s still better than swallowing a girl´s saliva), but all that fantasy-plot bs on top of it was too much for me to handle.

For the whole time i was watching it i've been thinking about FSN - due to OST. It is not even similar - but i still felt it.

This is the best goddamn anime of all times, the fetishes are so out there and in your face that it has me in between full wood and uncontrollable laughter.

I'd love to see what Shaft could do with this, or maybe just any studio with a better budget. Not that they're not doing a good job already, but i feel the concept deserved a bit more.

Kiri and Iwai's relationship is so cute, yet at the same time so warped by Kiri being under the influence of the killing tool, that it's far more interesting than any regular romance. It's not like Iwai would be perfectly normal, probably mainly due to her isolation and knowledge caused by the curse, but it always gives a funny feeling when Kiri starts stroking her hair with the borderline insane expression on his face.

The end was nice. It's good Iwai and Kiri reached an understanding again.

Oh, right. For some reason I didn't take it as a near-rape experience, so I was unsure of what you were talking about. She said afterwards it was scary but honestly she looked every bit as excited as Kiri, so I think she was just highly embarrassed and masked it by harsher words.
