Hmm...I'm not sure that should have even worked.
I get that Sage Mode is supposed to be better at sensing. But Chakra mode has the speed needed to keep up with a Raikage.
So even if he could sense the attack better or something, without Chakra mode he shouldn't have been able to react in time...
Oh well, still some good fighting.
Also don't understand how rubber comes from Lava Style. Rubber comes from trees...

Honestly, how Naruto managed to defeat him was far more plausible than the rest of the episode combined. Even after Kabuto took full control Raikage did hardly anything before his final spree against Naruto. The nameless ninja plus Temari were just happily surrouding him, wondering what to do with no hurry in the world. This fight, before the last part, was almost more stupid than the one against Mizukage. I'm kind of sad Temari got so poor treatment, making her look so powerless despite the fact she was so powerful already a long time ago pre-Shippuuden.
At least the fangirls were pretty funny.
Well, they did try and establish her as the 2nd strongest Wind user in the Allied Forces. So she was badass in word, if not in deed.
That only made it look like ALL wind users blows. Except Naruto, but he only has one single wind technique.
To be specific, Naruto has gained such expertise with rasengan that he's able to mix wind in. It's not like he was really a wind ninja in the same sense of ninja who have specialised on wind element techniques for years. I reckon the kyuubi mode might be the only area of expertise (of non-physical ninjutsu) he's learning properly from the basics and thus can build on something, instead of just learning some highly specific single techniques within a class, like shadow clone or rasengan. Well, I suppose he did learn summoning somewhat properly under Ero-sennin as well, but he was able to take short-cuts also there due to his immense chakra, and I always felt the frogs went really easy on him. Nobody knows if he ever bothers to train that area anywhere near to Jiraiya's level. He's the kind of guy who always wants to fight his own fights personally, so summoning doesn't really suit him, unless you count the sage mode to belong to it.
Agreeing with DE. Furthermore, Raikage should have been able to dodge Naruto just the same...
Naruto's quick-thinking has always been the best thing about his fights, from the Hydro-prison-freeing-Shuriken to Neji's punch.. let's just say I'm glad to have it back in some sort of fashion.
Ever since he developed his nine-tails power as a weapon it's been more of a power-fight than anything else.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
No. Even if we ignore the fact he's a zombie, that is, encumbered by rotting flesh, there's still the more important detail of being remote controlled by Kabuto. Kabuto seems to be somewhere far away and in some forgotten cave surrounded by stone, so it's natural to assume there's going to be a lag of at least a few hundred milliseconds between him and his zombies. That's easily enough for Naruto pull off a move like this.
Because we just saw it happen? It's easily explained by zombie Raikage not being as fast as he was while still alive. That slowing down, which isn't caused by rotting flesh like you said, has to be caused by something and since we know for a fact he was being remote controlled, it's either lag in the communication itself or perhaps Kabuto's brain couldn't keep up. He's not exactly a master of fast techniques himself, quite the opposite, since he's a medical ninja. A medical ninja needs accuracy and precise control, not speed.
Maybe it`s not actual rubber but a rubber-like material?

I'm trying to think of what kind of rubber-like material comes out of a volcano.
I think he's talkin' about bangin'.
