The first half of the episode made me think we weren't going to get any serious fighting. Those ninjas are hopeless as shit.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Heh, the Mizukage's fight just makes me laugh.
I really liked Mu's power set. He's like one of the only ninjas that actually uses stealth. To bad he went down so fast. Naruto is beating these guys so easily that it's making things anticlimactic.
Still, Planetary Rasengan was pretty fucking dope.
2nd mizukage is the best XD
Okay, so is it just me or, if the zombies are all programmed to just counter enemy attacks, if they just stopped attacking them, would they be able to just stand around doing nothing?
kabuto can also puts them into attack mode/autopilot iirc.
i think the 7 swordsman were like that cept for zabuza/habu. also the gold/silver bros are another example.
think of playing like 7 games of starcraft at once. most of the times u put each army into attack move command. then u look around and micro the army that is most important(kages) or needs the most help. thats sorta how imo i think he is handling it
It seems weird then that he didn't also do that with the Kages and Itachi/Nagato, because their ability to just kind of dick around and not really try is what's leading to them getting separated, singled out, and defeated.
Presumably, the Mizukage could have had the entire strike force wiped out before Gaara got back if he'd been in offensive mode instead of just defense.
Although, there certainly seems to be enough evidence at this point that Kabuto doesn't really have any interest in winning this war and is trying to undermine Madara anyway. So maybe he's doing it on purpose.
It's actually kind of funny that the allied ninja villages are the only ones interested in winning the war, while the bad guys are only interested in their own, differing agendas. If anything, it tells of a serious lack of brains on the allies' side, considering their only objectives should be killing specifically Kabuto and Madara, the rest of the enemies being totally inconsequential, apart from basic self-defense.
Did the manga present events in a similar manner, or did it seem like the enemies were actually fighting hard?
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Seems pretty much the same. Fewer wisecracks from the attacking ninjas and none of the "Alright, go retrieve your weapons" thing, but definitely has the whole "No, don't attack me, attack the clam, no not that one, it's a mirage, behind me, not behind THIS me! THIS me is a mirage!!" thing.
