Tamako Market
Description: Tamako is a high-school freshman whose family runs a mochi (rice cake) shop in a certain town's shopping district. While shopping, she meets a bird in a flower shop that speaks Japanese. The bird becomes attached to her as she continues about her daily life, working at the mochi shop and spending time with her friends in the baton twirling club.

Theplotpremise doesn't really grab me, the character designs are remixes of KyoAni's other school series, stylistically identical to K-ON unfortunately, rather than Hyouka or Chuunibyou and the characters themselves aren't really that interesting.
That said, I'll give credit where it is due. Tamako Market has some very fluid animation. It stands out right away. If the characters are moving (at least in a non-comedical way) it is almost uncannily fluid. This is like just one step below rotoscoping, the stuff usually seen in sequences of anime movies (pop idol dance sequences or sword fights the most often). It is impressive to say the least. It's not uncanny valley territory either, it comes off as perfectly natural movements.
I can't say I'll be following this series (unless I'm really bored on Wednesdays...which is likely since all the shows I want to watch are on the weekends), but I was suitably impressed with the quality of the animation itself, while being underwhelmed by basically everything else.
