New World has a lot of elemental themed islands apparently!
The dragon's cool and all, but if it's like every other mythical creature they've met, it'll be disappointingly weak compared to the Strawhats.

Luffy's "Maybe he's stupid." line was pretty funny.
Are we assuming it's Vegapunk's island just because of the Punk in the name?

I wouldn't have thought VegaPunk was some kind of recluse. If he's the guy that builds all of the WG's tech, he should live in Mariejoa or something.
Obviously nobody should be living on this island anymore. But regardless, he ought to have more than one lab anyway. I doubt the world government would want the most dangerous experiments performed right next to their palaces.

Just watched it. Exciting to see things back on track already. I seem to recall one minor detail they left out: That island with lightning crashing down is supposed to be the most dangerous of the 3 that the strawhats log pose was pointing to, and Smoker camped out there specifically because he knew Luffy would pick the most reckless path. Kind of a neat tidbit showing how well Smoker knows Luffy.

He might know Luffy but he underestimated the world itself that always has something extra in store for Luffy.
