i think you could take it either way. when someone says "dropout" they dont always literally mean a person who drops out of school and what not. you can also take it as a person who is a loser or a person who cant do what they are meant to, or are supposed to do.

you dont need to take translations so literally, because they are, translations and can be taken several ways.
